Instructions for using .PFR frames 5.� Open up your PSP program. ����� "Enable Path" and "Use sub folders", then click OK to exit the window.
(by installing them on your hard drive)
(this is for PSP7 but is basically the same for PSP6 and 8)
(Do NOT install these frames directly into your PSP program.� No items should be installed into PSP.� Make a separate folder for them, and then direct PSP to go find the items.� These directions will work for tubes, plugins, graphics or anything else that you use for PSP.)
1.� Install your CD into your CD player.� Open up Exploring Windows.
����� (Hold down your Windows symbol on your keyboard (2nd key from left-
����� bottom row) and press E one time).�
2.� Highlight your C drive.�� On the Exploring Windows taskbar, click on
����� File\New\Folder.� When the new folder is made, rename it to PFR Frames.�
3.� Highlight your CD drive.� On the Exploring Windows taskbar, click on
����� Edit\Select All.� (all the items should now be highlighted).� On the taskbar,
����� click Edit\Copy.
4.� Highlight the new folder that you made.� (C:\PFR Frames)�
����� On the Exploring Windows taskbar, click on Edit\Paste.� All of the frames
����� will now be installed on your C drive.
6.� On the PSP taskbar, go to File\Preferences\File Locations
7.� In the new window that opens, click on the Frames tab.
8.� Beside the first Blank line, click on the Browse button
����� beside the empty line.
6.� Now browse for your C:\PFR Frames folder, and highlight it.
7.� Click OK.
8.� You will see that the folder is now added to the first line.� Check
9.� On your PSP taskbar, click on File\Browse.� Find your folder holding your
����� graphics, and open the picture that you wish to frame.
10.� Click on Image\Resize, and resize your picture to an approximate width of
������ no more than 350 pixels.� This will assure that the frame does not become
������ distorted when you add it.
11.� On your PSP taskbar, click on Image\Picture Frame.� Let the frames load.
������ A window will open that will list all your frames.
12.� Decide which frame you want to use from the drop down list.� Click Next.
������ Choose which way you want the frame to look, either inside the picture, or
������ outside the picture.�� If you don't like your choice of frames, click the back
������ button, and choose another frame.� Do this until you get the one you like.
13.� After finding the frame you like, click "Finish".
14.� Your frame should now be around your picture.� On your PSP taskbar, go
������ to Layers\Merge\Merge All.
15.� It's always a good idea to sharpen your picture, so on your PSP taskbar,
����� go to Effects\Sharpen\Sharpen.
16.� Your picture is now framed and you can save it.
������
